Mamu and Daddy Go to HK-Macau

One day, while Mamu was watching tv, she said she wanted to do something new.

Dad said, why don't we go some place new. And Mamu agreed.

So they packed their bags and went to the airport,

and rode a double-decker bus.

It was raining but they didn't mind.

Next, they boarded a ferry

and found themselves in Macau!

They watched a cultural show

and enjoyed a magic show!

They liked the fountains so much

that they had one pic taken there in the morning, another at twilight

And again, at night!

As it was a Sunday, they headed to the Macau Cathedral to hear mass where about 95% were Filipinos including, lector, commentator and choir minus the priest. It was like being at home, they thought to themselves.

It has been a long day and they thought they'd walk back to the hotel. But they said, hey, we're in the city of casinos, why not stop by Grand Lisboa and take a peek inside. But that's not all they did. As true-blue Pinoys, they also had their Kodak moment.

Next day, being SC's aka 20's (for their 20% off from establishments ;p) they woke up early as usual, had heavy breakfast at the hotel and went to Macau Tower.

They both hesitated to climb it. It's a daunting task, Mamu said. Not if we use the elevators, Dad said. It's only 60 floors high, he added.

But Mamu won't budge. Heights is not her thing esp. if they charge 120 hkd! Oh, her Ilocana blood doesn't agree with the ticket price. ;p

Well, they agreed it's easier to have their picture taken instead.

Finally, Dad, although also an Ilocano, shrugged off the expensive entrance fee and bravely went up. Though, at the back of his mind, he was converting to php. Wow, I could've bought some stuff in Ace Hardware with that money, he said. Nevertheless, he enjoyed the 360' view.

After that, they went to Fisherman's Wharf where they had a goofy time.

pretending to be Samson, huh!

After that pictorial, they decide to head to HK. In a Beemer?

First stop, Victoria Peak.

This is the train they rode up to the Peak.

Oopsie! Wrong pic. This one dapat.

The view they enjoyed, city side

and sea-side.

Day 3: Disneyland!!!

They had fun meeting Mickey Mouse, Tarzan, Lightning McQueen and other Disney characters they've probably never heard of in their lives haha!

They liked riding River Cruise best among the other rides. Though Dad says, Space Mountain is supreme. Mamu wouldn't know the difference because she bailed out. Preferred to give her her legs and feet some rest.

The next day, they headed to a popular tourist spot, the Harbour.

They walked some more and was at the Avenue of Stars.

Dad was elated to meet Jackie Chan!!!

And Bruce Lee for a sparring partner!

While Mamu sat down in the guise of resting.
But Dad said, "come let's have some fun! I'll be the director, you'll be the artista." Mamu said, "ayaw ko. Ayaw ko! Sige na nga, mapilit ka."

"Ako naman, karate!"

"Tayong dalawa, yah!"

Then Mamu realized how embarrassing these things they've been doing around other Chinese tourists, so she ran off. And Dad went up the platform looking for her.
"Where are you, Mamu?" he asked.

Then he came back down and found her sitting again. She said her feet were sore from walking.

So, they decided to head back home. But not after another round of pictures, this time with normal poses.

Mamu and Dad were happy for their trip. "We had 4 great days of fun!"

Mamu said, Dad and I even met our first Chinese friend in the plane.

"Hello, my name is Nikky," their new friend said.

THE END
